How to Develop and Deliver an Exhibition with Valeria Ceregini

Valeria Ceregini is an international Italian Irish-based visual arts curator and historian, and creative producer specialised in ecological and trans-cultural research, with extensive experience developing interdisciplinary and community-engaged projects across Ireland and Europe.

She has curated numerous national and international premieres, producing compelling sociocultural projects. She champions Irish artists and fosters collaborations that engage diverse audiences worldwide. Her research seeks to transcend borders, offering fresh perspectives on the evolving landscape of contemporary art. Valeria holds an MA in Communication Science (Semiotics) from the University of Turin and an MA (Hons) in History of Art from the University of Genoa. She further pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Cultural Heritage & Museum Studies, deepening her expertise in curatorial and institutional practices. She is the founder and director of MISCIA - Moving In Supporting Community In Art (https://misciacommunity.com/), an emerging platform supporting artists through mentorships, workshops and tailored programmes, which aims to cultivate meaningful collaborations across Europe with professionals and creative minds.

Her portfolio includes collaborations with leading international institutions, artists, and cultural organisations through exhibitions, publications, workshops, and talks. She is a Safe to Create ‘Code of Behaviour' signatory (https://www.safetocreate.ie/), and an accredited Relational Dynamic Coach with Culture at Work Ltd & Relational Dynamics 1st Ltd, UK.
