Get ready to cut, tear, glue, and celebrate! The Connacht Collage Collective is turning one, and we’re marking the occasion with a Big Paper Paste Party in honour of World Collage Day. This extra special session is open to everyone — no matter your experience or skill level. Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned pro, we invite you to come along and enjoy the simple pleasure of making.

For this birthday edition, DJ SIM Card will share some mood music while we create together.

World Collage Day is an annual, international celebration held on the second Saturday of May. Initiated by Kolaj Magazine, the day is a call for artists and venues around the world to celebrate collage — a medium that brings together disparate pieces to create something new. World Collage Day reminds us of the power of connection. As Kolaj editor Ric Kasini Kadour says, “We created World Collage Day because we wanted to honour this community of artists and to remind the world what a spirit of cooperation, mutual support, and creativity can look like.”

This is an adult workshop (18+), and everyone is welcome.
