How can artists become more confident in presenting their work and communicating their ideas in professional contexts?

From Practice to Presentation is a practical, participatory workshop building on Valeria Ceregini’s previous sessions on Building a Strong Artist Portfolio and Exhibition Planning and Delivery. Moving from theory to practice, participants will work through peer-to-peer exercises, role-play and real-world scenarios to strengthen how they present their practice, discuss their portfolio and develop exhibition ideas.

Through individual, paired and group activities, artists will practise communicating with peers, curators and venues, responding to exhibition challenges and giving and receiving constructive feedback.

With an emphasis on learning by doing, the workshop aims to build clarity, confidence and stronger professional relationships.

Participants are encouraged to bring their portfolio or a selection of works to use during the exercises.
