Chasing the Light

Chasing the Light is a powerful feature length documentary that tells the story of how a 60's hippy dream becomes a world-renowned centre of Buddhist practice at the Dzogchen Beara Retreat Centre in West Cork. As the community attempts to build Ireland’s first Tibetan Buddhist temple on a remote clifftop, it becomes clear that there are many blind spots on the road to enlightenment.
