Sensing Lannagh Foyer Exhibition

Thursday 11 December 2025 - Saturday 17 January 2026

The Linenhall with support from UPSTART Mayo County Council, is proud to present Sensing Lannagh, a new exhibition by A.T.U. Project WAVE students in collaboration with visual artist Emma O’Donoghue and composer Irish Lights.

The artworks are open for viewing in the foyer gallery from Thursday 11 December 2025 until Saturday 17 January 2026.

This special exhibition celebrates creativity, community and the biodiversity of Lough Lannagh. Visitors are invited to experience a collection of tactile artworks developed through a series of collaborative workshops, accompanied by an immersive soundscape composed by Irish Lights with input from participating students.

Presented in honour of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Sensing Lannagh highlights the imagination, skill and artistic abilities of adults with intellectual disabilities. The artworks were created using mixed media with an emphasis on sustainability and found objects.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the artworks and celebrate the inclusive spirit at the heart of this project.
