Connections 6 Degrees West

'Connections' features new works by 6 Degrees West - a collective of 8 artists that met over 20 years ago in Atlantic Technological University (formally GMIT). In this exhibition the group explore their relationships and associations to the county of Mayo. They have chosen to focus on the interpretation of the Mayo landscape, its history and personal memories of the area.

Connections features a vibrant display which includes paintings in oils, encaustic medium and drawings in gouache. With 6 Degrees West, unique and individual styles come together in genres that range from realistic, interpreted exaggeration of reality and the imagined world.
