Using an experimental approach to drawing, it foregrounds drawing as a form of spectacle and attempts to nudge the pictorial landscape tradition in a new direction to widen the scope of what both it and drawing can accommodate.

Through work which ranges in scale from small wall-based pieces to large constructed assemblages, she often creates what can be described as 'habitats' for drawing. Using dispersed, depicted fragments of line and mark-making to suggest wider vistas, these 'propositions of landscape' simultaneously create a sense of ambiguity and transience while also suggesting a fractured, fragile world. A drifting point of view is always present.

Working from her Dublin-based studio, this was her sixth solo show. She has a BA in Fine Art (Painting) NCAD and an MA in Visual Arts Practices IADT and has participated in numerous curated group shows in both Ireland and England. Her work is held in the collections of the OPW, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Co Council, Wicklow Co Council, Tallaght Hospital and also in private collections in Ireland and the UK.
