Whether you’re a seasoned performer or a complete beginner, this drama series caters to all!

Join Denise Guilfoyle and Terry McDonagh for this new project of five drama workshops aimed at building confidence and self-expression in a welcoming environment where everyone’s contribution is valued.
Using a mixture of age-appropriate practical theatre exercises, gentle warm-ups, voice work and storytelling, this series encourages engagement in a collaborative endeavour and unleashing the creativity within.

It’s an opportunity to try something new, make new friends and to come together and work as an ensemble. Above all, the aim is to have fun whilst learning new skills, to explore new ideas and to enjoy ourselves with other like-minded individuals!

Participants will be supported throughout the programme and there will be the opportunity for sharing of work in the final week.

This event is part of Bealtaine Festival, Ireland’s national festival celebrating the arts and ageing. The festival brings people together from across the country to inspire creativity in those aged 50+ and to highlight the ongoing potential people have as they move through later life.

Bealtaine is strategically funded by Mayo County Council's Arts Service and the Arts Council
