We are thrilled to announce that the Linenhall and Ballina Arts Centre are teaming up once more for the bi-annual Mayo Artists Show, an opportunity to rejoice in the talent of visual artists across the length and breadth of our beautiful county.
While one of the greatest privileges of our work is engaging with artists and witnessing the gallery transform throughout the year, it is always an especially memorable, and feel good occasion showcasing the talents of Mayo’s finest visual artists, across our gallery walls and spaces.
Submissions will be accepted from Thursday, November 20 to Saturday, November 22 and are open to those over the age of 18, either from or living in Mayo. Artists at all career stages are welcome to submit up to three pieces of visual art, in any discipline. A submission fee of €5 per artwork applies. As always, this bi-annual show presents a cornucopia of work in all manner of media.

Submissions Ballina Arts Centre:
- Wed 20 Nov: 10.30am - 5.30pm
- Fri 21 Nov: 12pm - 8pm
- Sat 22 Nov: 10.30am - 5pm
Works should be no larger than 100cm in any direction, including frame. Sculptures and digital media work are accepted in the Linenhall (and not Ballina Arts Centre), however if you are submitting digital media work please include information on how you plan to exhibit the piece. All work must be presented in a condition ready for exhibition.
As in previous years the Mayo Artists Show exhibition will be curated by a professional curator who will carefully select the work this year.
The official launch of the Mayo Artists Show will be held on Friday, December 5 at 6pm in the Linenhall Gallery, and on Saturday, December 6 at 2pm in Ballina Arts Centre. The exhibition runs until Friday, January 16 2026 in the Linenhall and until Saturday, January 10 2026 in Ballina Arts Centre.
