Welcome to the Linenhall World Book Club. A monthly meeting for curious readers who love great books. Our global selections will cover all formats: from serious literature to light summer reads, modern fiction, translations, earlier works or popular classics.

June selection is: "The Girl Who Smiled Beads" by Clemantine Wamariya and Elizabeth Weil.

The book is a New York Times bestseller with it being a "riveting story of dislocation, survival, and the power of stories to break or save us." The book's message is in line with the this year's theme of World Refugee Week - courage.

Book Club members will be encouraged to get actively involved in the selection process in the succeeding months. The book for the following month will be decided at the end of each session.

All welcome.
