The Dead Letter Office

Elizabeth is a Dead Letter Detective and knows everything there is to know about lost post. She loves her job… but people don’t send letters anymore.

Days before the closure of her beloved Dead Letter Office, a mysterious package arrives. Faced with the most difficult mystery of her career, Elizabeth is forced to make life-changing decisions.

The Dead Letter Office is a play for young audiences aged 9+ that explores migration through an engaging and beautiful story about belonging and loss, and the different ways we find to connect with each other.

This project is funded by The Arts Council. Originally commissioned and developed in partnership with Ready, Steady, SHOW! at The Civic and supported by Branar Meitheal. Early development support through Branar Tiny Shows, Creative Ireland, Centre Culturel Irlandais, Draíocht Theatre and “Time to Play” with Theatre Lovett.
