Sketch Tour “Two Singers One Song”

Join us for a relaxed sketching session in Two Singers One Song, an exhibition of sculpture, painting and drawing by Jackie Askew and Sheila Vollmer.

Open to ages 16+, this art gallery tour invites you to look closely, respond creatively, and explore ideas through quick sketches rather than finished work.
Inspired by the words of Takeshi Okada, “Creativity occurs when you encounter something” this experience encourages you to engage directly with the artworks through observation and sketching. Rather than aiming for finished pieces, the focus is on quick studies, exploring composition, and capturing details or motifs that resonate with you.

A small sketch book and dry materials will be provided to those who have booked in advance. The sketching session will be hosted by Ixchel Gilplin.

No experience is necessary.
