Запрошуємо українську громаду та всіх охочих на кураторську екскурсію виставкою «The Rock That Hurt You Was the Rock That Opened a Nut» мисткині Ванесси Доносо Лопес.
Виставка досліджує теми пам’яті, матеріалів, природи та людського досвіду через скульптурні й візуальні роботи, натхненні каменем, землею та культурною спадщиною. У роботах мисткині поєднуються сучасне мистецтво, археологічні мотиви та традиційні техніки, створюючи особливий простір для роздумів і відкриттів.
Екскурсію проведе Вікторія Філіповська, працівниця Linenhall Arts Centre, яка допоможе глибше зрозуміти ідеї та контекст цієї виставки.
Після екскурсії на учасників чекатиме особливий творчий воркшоп із мистецтва ebru / marbling — стародавньої техніки малювання на воді. Саме роботи, створені в цій техніці, представлені на виставці. Учасники зможуть спробувати себе в цьому чарівному процесі та створити власні унікальні роботи — навіть якщо ніколи раніше не займалися мистецтвом.
Попередній досвід не потрібен.

We invite the Ukrainian community and all interested to join us for a guided tour of the exhibition “The Rock That Hurt You Was the Rock That Opened a Nut” by artist Vanessa Donoso López.
The exhibition explores themes of memory, materials, nature, and human experience through sculptural and visual works inspired by stone, earth, and cultural heritage. Combining contemporary art, archaeological references, and traditional techniques, the artist creates a unique space for reflection and discovery.
The tour will be led by Viktoria Filipovska, a staff member of Linenhall Arts Centre, who will provide a deeper understanding of the ideas and context behind the exhibition.
After the tour, participants will have the opportunity to take part in a special ebru / marbling workshop — the ancient art of painting on water. Works created using this technique are featured in the exhibition itself. Participants will be invited to explore this magical process and create their own unique masterpieces, even if they have never tried art before.
No prior experience is necessary.
All are welcome to attend this free event.
