Guided Tour in Ukrainain

Запрошуємо українську громаду та всіх охочих на кураторську екскурсію виставкою «The Vanquished Writing History» художника Пола МакКормака.

На виставці представлені 13 великоформатних портретів в гіперреалістичному стилі. На цих портретах зображені активісти або їхні представники — люди, які опинилися на маргінесі суспільства, зазнали осуду, недовіри чи виключення, але змогли розповісти власні історії та зробити позитивний внесок в ірландське суспільство. Найчастіше це відбувалося через громадський активізм, правозахисну діяльність або через судові процеси.

Екскурсію проведе Вікторія Філіповська, працівниця Linenhall Arts Centre, яка допоможе глибше зрозуміти ідеї та контекст цієї виставки.

Після екскурсії учасники матимуть можливість поспілкуватися між собою за чашкою чаю або кави.

Попередній досвід не потрібен.

We invite the Ukrainian community and all interested to join us for a guided tour of the "The Vanquished Writing History" exhibition by artist Paul MacCormaic.

The exhibition comprises of 13 large-scale portraits. These portraits are of campaigners, or their advocates, who find themselves marginalised, ostracised, vilified or disbelieved, and have told their own story, making a positive contribution to Irish society, usually through activism, advocacy or through the courts.

The tour will be led by Viktoria Filipovska, a staff member of Linenhall Art Centre, who will provide a deeper understanding of the ideas and context behind the exhibition.

After the tour, there will be an opportunity to mingle with other attendees over tea or coffee.

No prior experience is necessary.
