BEING HUMAN: A COMMUNION IN POETRY AND MUSIC
Join Kim Rosen for a transformative immersion in poems carried on a river of music through grief and grace, humanness and beingness, living and dying. This offering is a culmination of Kim's love of the realness, rawness and intimacy that arises when we turn towards all levels of being human.
In this moment in history, every one of us has been touched and changed by the personal, societal and planetary struggles we are undergoing. Please join Kim in a transformative convergence of poems & music that emerge from the heartbreak, gratitude and celebration of this moment in our lives and in the life of our world.
Kim Rosen, M.F.A., author of Saved by a Poem: The Transformative Power of Words, has awakened listeners around the world to the power of poetry to heal, connect and disarm individuals and communities. She is a poet, spoken word artist, ritualist, and guide of inner exploration. In 2007, she spoke a poem to a group of Maasai girls in a safe house in Kenya and that moment became the seed of the Safe House Education (S.H.E) Fund.
