Alt Sounds is a showcase of unique young talent organised by the musicians themselves.

Featuring:

Infared are a four piece post grunge band. They take a lot of inspiration from bands such as Nirvana, Green Day and the Jins, but are also inspired by Paramore because of their energy and female vocalist.

Seeking sorrow is a Mayo based alternative rock and pop punk band with influences from Paramore, Greenday and My Chemical Romance. We play covers and originals. Our energetic performances are sure to get a crowd moving!

Calico is a four piece all girl rock band from Mayo who mainly play covers these days, but be on the lookout for originals soon! Our influences are mainly female fronted bands, such as No Doubt, Hole, The Cranberries, but also The Cure, Pixies, and The Beatles. We try to pick from all sides of rock to get an all around sound!
