Lego & Art Themed Summer Camp

We’ve got an amazing crew of professional artists ready to share their skills with you, offering fun & creative ways to make art.

In this summer camp, you’ll team up to dream up fresh ideas, sketch bold designs, and build your own models of public spaces—brick by brick. Think parks, hangout spots, walkways, play zones—whatever you believe would make Castlebar an even better place to live. You’ll explore how people use shared spaces, get hands-on with materials like Lego, cardboard, and felt, and bring your vision to life with colour, texture, and creativity. Artists Aleksandra Schulte & Justyna Gruszczyck and technologist, Hassan Dabbagh, will be on hand to guide you through this imaginative, playful journey.

It’s all about teaming up, getting creative, and imagining better spaces—for real people, right here in Castlebar.

No prior experience is required. All you need is to bring a packed lunch with you each day and wear loose comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting in a mess!

Suitable for ages 8 – 16 years old.
