Workshop Facilitator & Arts Assistant Community Employment Scheme

The Linenhall Arts Centre, Castlebar programmes high-quality arts workshops for all the community across a range of art forms. We are looking for a Workshop Facilitator on the Community Employment Scheme. This role supports the Visual Art Programme for Schools, and creative offerings for Families, adult learning and general events.

Candidates shall:

(1) be skilled in the area of visual art;

(2) have good communications skills;

(3) be prepared to work as part of a team;


This is a part-time position. The hours are 19.5 hours per week and will usually be 10am to 5pm Mon to Sat but may occasionally include some Saturdays and some evening work.

Experience in workshop facilitation and/or experience working with children would be an advantage.
