Celebrate the Art of Poetry at Our New Open Mic Night!

The Linenhall is thrilled to announce the launch of its new Poetry and Short Prose Open Mic Night, a captivating evening dedicated to the beauty and power of the spoken word. Whether you're an experienced poet or a newcomer eager to share your voice, this is your platform to shine. A featured reader for each session will be announced in advance. We are delighted to announce that Ger Reidy will join us as the launch night’s featured reader.

Join Us the First Monday of the Month, starting on Monday 7 October, from 6.30pm in Siopa Caife and pay what you can afford.

Poetry and Short Prose Open Mic Night promises an intimate and inspiring atmosphere where poets can share their original work, and audiences can experience the raw emotion and creativity of live performances. We invite poets of all ages and backgrounds to take the stage and celebrate the art of poetry with us.

What to Expect:
- Diverse Poetry: From classic verse to modern freeform, enjoy a wide range of poetic styles and voices.
- Supportive Community: Connect with fellow poets and poetry lovers in a welcoming and encouraging setting.
- Refreshments Available: Enjoy a selection of drinks/snacks available for purchase to enhance your experience.

How to Participate:
- Each reader will have 5-10 minutes to share their work.
