Mrs Robinson, tells the story of how young Mary Bourke from Mayo became Irelands first female President in 1990. A lawyer and senator in her early career, Mary held the presidency for seven eventful years, championing women’s rights and laying the foundations for the Irish Peace Process. She is celebrated for fearlessly challenging perpetrators of human rights abuses internationally.
