| Audio and video on the web is cool stuff - but MAY require a little effort and patience from the end user (i.e YOU!). In order to access audio/video files you MUST HAVE the RealPlayer plug-in installed in your browser ( Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator.) If you dont already have it, the plug-in can be obtained for download at www.real.com. You can opt for the deluxe version "RealPlayer8 Plus" to buy, or the free player "RealPlayer8 Basic". You will have to navigate through a few pages on the real.com site to find the free version, but DO persist, 'cos IT IS THERE ! . When you get there make sure to fill out the correct options for your set-up i.e what computer, what system etc you are using. Older computers may need earlier versions of the plug-in. These are also available at real.com. Again scrutinize the site, delve deeply and you will find ! The plug-in can take up to 30 mins.(Depending on your connection speed) to download but it's well worth it. Not only will it offer you the opportunity to enjoy the media content that the Linenhall is committed to providing, but all other audio video on the web - and you only have to download and install it once! |
