We invite young people aged 16 -18 years to apply for one of eight spaces in the Young Playwrights Programme, which will culminate in a rehearsed reading of their writing by professional actors and directors, as part of Roola Boola Arts Festival this November!

No previous playwriting experience is necessary but enthusiasm and a passion for performance writing is key. Successful applicants will be required to attend all workshops, in September and October and dedicate time to reflecting, reading and writing between workshops.

Participation is Free

We are now in search of enthusiastic young writers aged 16-18 to take part in the programme. Participation is free of charge.

Unique Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to work with a team of theatre professionals on a play that you have written. We are aiming to start in mid-September so please don’t delay.
