Forhalla Open Call
The Linenhall invites you to submit your art for our Forhalla group show this summer!
Connacht based artists are invited by the Linenhall Arts Centre to submit up to 2 works for a group show Forhalla, in our Foyer Community Gallery.
This exhibition will run from Friday 7th July to Saturday 2nd September, with an official launch on Friday 7th July with all works for sale.
Terms and conditions:
Submissions are in person. Work to be brought on site at the Linenhall for consideration: Thursday 22nd June from 11:00am to 5:00pm, Friday 23rd June from 11:00am to 7:00pm, Saturday 24th June from 11:30am to 4:00pm. For any other queries contact info@thelinenhall.com
*Works submitted before or after these dates and times will not be accepted. Works submitted by anything other than in person submission will not be accepted.
•All 2D format works will be considered.
•Works must be ‘hang ready’, work not ready to hang at the time of submission will not be accepted.
•Artist must provide Title and Price (taking into consideration the Linenhall’s 30% commission on all pricing) attached to rear of work.
•Works cannot exceed 100cm in length in any direction.
•Digital work and sculpture cannot be accepted.
•A maximum of two submissions per artist will apply with a submission fee of €5.00 per piece.
•Acceptance of submissions is at the discretion of our selection panel.
•Artists will be notified within 7 days regarding their submission/s.
•Delivery and collection of work is the artist’s responsibility.
•There is a 30% commission towards the Linenhall on all art sales. We advise artists to take this into consideration when pricing their work.
