Fantastic Theatre for Families @ the Linenhall
We've two amazing theatre shows coming up in May and June for family audiences (7yrs+). Why not give your family a mid-week treat one of these long bright evenings.
Bláth / The Flower, is a non-verbal show set in a world that has decided colour and plants are no longer needed. Based on the children's book "The Flower" by John Light and Lisa Evans, this show comes to us from Branar in Galway, and combines sensitive and engaging puppetry, object theatre and original score (by Colm Mac Con Iomaire (The Frames)), not to mention amazing set design by Mayo based visual artist Maeve Clancy. It takes place on Monday May 19th, 7.30pm, and tickets are available here.
In June we welcome Het Filiaal from the Netherlands with The Secret of Q. A spectacular show, with cameras, puppets, models and projections it will take your breath away. The Linenhall has worked with colleagues in Shortworks, a network of venues committed to presenting the highest quality arts experiences for children, to bring this show to Ireland, and we're really excited that audiences in Blanchardstown, Dublin City, Newbridge, and Castlebar will get to experience this exciting thriller for young and old.
It takes place here at the Linenhall on Thursday 12th June at 7.30pm. You can get your tickets here.
